Biography

Bio

Growing up in Lake Tahoe provided an expansive playground that shaped Erik’s philosophical perspective on leisure and learning. This outlook was amplified throughout his undergraduate and graduate studies, where he is now ardently committed to reestablishing the paradoxical tautology of scholé. Simply stated … making education fun!

Research Interests

Social psychology and psychophysiology of leisure behavior, environmental psychology, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. And when not collecting or analyzing data, Erik, a gadget and gear junkie, is with family and friends exploring nature and contemplating life’s imponderables.
